Ghillie now ships a packaged operator CLI entry point:
uv run ghillie --help
The scaffolded root nouns are stack, estate, ingest, export, report,
and metrics. The CLI grammar is noun-first:
ghillie <noun> <verb> [selectors] [predicates] [options]
Shared root configuration is resolved before noun dispatch with this precedence:
- Explicit root CLI flags such as
--api-base-url. - Environment variables such as
GHILLIE_API_BASE_URL. ~/.config/ghillie/cli.toml.~/.config/ghillie/state.json.- Fallback
http://127.0.0.1:8080.
Task 2.5.a delivers the command contract, shared config resolution, control
plane client wiring, and local runtime adapter selection for cuprum and
python-api. Most verbs still return deterministic placeholder payloads until
later roadmap tasks attach the real estate, ingestion, export, metrics, and
reporting backends.
Two useful checks:
uv run ghillie stack up --help
This shows the documented stack scaffold options, including --backend and
--wait or --no-wait.
uv run ghillie --api-base-url http://127.0.0.1:9999 report run --help
This proves the shared root options are accepted before the noun command.
