From a Concordat checkout, use Vale to review prose against the project's writing conventions. On Linux x86_64, install the local binary and style package, then run the inspection:
make install-vale
make vale
make install-vale installs both the Linux x86_64 binary and style package.
make vale first runs make check-vale, which reports installation guidance
if the selected executable or local style package is unavailable. The binary
installer supports Linux x86_64 only. On another platform, provide a compatible
Vale executable and run make install-vale-styles before the inspection. Use
make VALE=/absolute/path/to/vale vale to select an executable, or
make VALE=vale vale to use a Vale installation already on PATH.
This inspection is optional and runs outside the standard gates and continuous integration. Its findings support prose review; they do not establish estate-policy compliance. See developer guidance for tool requirements, configuration, and comparison limits.
