Lattice, material, instrument
The lattice mark suggests an anomalous node. Carbon carries the cover; alumina carries reading. Teal marks instrument views and links; amber marks transported records and dark-surface focus.
IBM Plex Sans carries the prose and display hierarchy. IBM Plex Mono carries code and catalogue metadata. Light-surface links use an ink teal with sufficient contrast; luminous teal belongs on carbon.

Robot panda
Ailuropoda logistica
Carries one record at a time from the producer to a handler’s queue. Rarely seen without a crate.

Robot capybara
Queueus chillus
Occupies the bounded queue in front of each handler. Its calm is not an overflow policy; yours is.
Plan for a full queue
Fig. 3 · Compatibility and interfaces
Robot dinosaur
Femtosaurus compatibilis
Inspects every adapter between the stdlib surface and the runtime. Keeps meticulous notes on what does not fit.
Check the supported surfaceAnimals do not replace API names, error messages, or technical diagrams. Every survey plate on this site is fictional scientific illustration, not a micrograph: apparent femtoscale machinery is worldbuilding, not physical evidence, and no plate records a measurement.

Read the caption grammar
Plate number and specimen ID, then one observed action, with an occasional dry anomaly. The instrument bar, numbered markers, and illustrative scale are HTML laid over the plate; the raster itself carries no labels or measurements. A legend in the caption repeats every marker in words.
